Artists's StatementI define myself as a fiber artist. This is an All-inclusive name for creating in flexible materials, using techniques that allow the formation of large surfaces or three-dimensional figures. For me fibers have a lot of human characteristics, they are sensitive and given to influences and manipulations, they respond wonderfully if treated well, they are living matter with a limited life span. Fiber works are one time works, they cannot be reproduced or replicated, each work is special and unique, one can create like works but not identical ones. | |
